Ryan Van Spankeren comes to PACE Equity with expertise in the real estate finance and property management industries, as well as a special interest in sustainability. His experience includes management of hundreds of multifamily units throughout Wisconsin, as well as rehab acquisition and new business development.
As Vice President of Operations, Ryan works in the PACE Equity corporate office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is responsible for managing new funding projects. This includes working with the sales team and clients to underwrite, collect data, and qualify projects for closing. He also manages technology/systems and day-to-day operations at the firm.
Prior to joining PACE Equity, Ryan was the Director of Property Management at AcQuest Property Group, overseeing the property management team, managing a portfolio of properties himself as well as pursuing new acquisitions. He started his career as an Administrative Assistant at Schwab Properties.
Having majored in finance with an emphasis on real estate investment, Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He has also studied abroad in Jamaica, where he focused on sustainability in the tourism and hospitality industries, maintained beaches and volunteered at local schools.
Ryan currently lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and spends most of his free time outdoors, preferably on a boat.
