Robert Lawson is a Low Carbon Energy Advisor at PACE Equity.
Robert retired from Johnson Controls after a 23-year career in which he worked on the Performance Contracting Team as a Project Development Engineer, Tennessee Market Team Engineering Manager, and Principal Development Engineer. During his career, he was a Certified Energy Manager, ASHRAE Member, and belonged to the Association of Energy Engineers.
Prior to his engineering career, Robert had a career as a Church Musician. He received his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Samford University and his Masters in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Robert enjoys spending time with his grandson, singing in his church choir, and doing projects in his shop. He and his wife, Katie, recently celebrated 40 yeas together. They have two daughters.
