Larry Helms is a Low Carbon Energy Advisor at PACE Equity.
Larry has over 36 years of experience evaluating energy efficiency, conducting energy analyses, performing building modeling, developing energy calculations and developing energy and cost reduction opportunities for multiple and complex facilities. Over his work experience, he has conducted technical training courses for advanced HVAC, lighting, food service equipment and energy auditing techniques for various utilities. His experience includes evaluation, recommendation and implementation of mechanical upgrades, lighting improvements, building envelope improvements, electrical system upgrades, water meter upgrades and utility rate changes. He has performed technical analysis, life-cycle cost analysis, and project development supervision.
Larry earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
In his spare time, Larry enjoys spending time with Sherry, his wife of 40 years. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren and 2 cats. Larry enjoys being outdoors, working on puzzles, reading, and small woodworking projects.
