Kevin is the Chief Investment Officer for PACE Equity.
Kevin Moyer is a highly accomplished global leader with over 20 years of executive business development, financing, general management and consulting experience. Throughout his career, Kevin gained experience guiding growth, emerging market penetration, partnerships, as well as highly successful commercial and financial transactions in financial business services and industrial markets.
In addition to years of business development knowledge, Kevin brings highly relevant banking, structured and public finance, and equipment leasing experience – all focused in energy efficiency, alternative energy, real estate, power generation, high technology, and transportation markets. Some of Kevin’s accomplishments include leading the growth of a start-up commercial finance and leasing business to one billion dollars in investments managing equipment, plus three billion dollars in real estate and power generation assets.
A nationally recognized thought leader in the development of PACE, Kevin’s deep knowledge of PACE goes back to 2009. In June 2010, he joined the Toledo Lucas County Port Authority in an executive contract position to develop and launch a Clean Energy Financing program using $15 million of Department of Energy grants and the Ports Bond Fund. PACE was the center of his strategy. With his team, Kevin funded over 150 C-PACE projects and $54 million of Revolving Loan Funds and Bond Financing. Other financing tools utilized are Qualified Energy Conservation Bonds, Power Purchase Agreements, and ESAs. Kevin currently Chairs the Northwest Ohio Advanced Energy District.
Recently Kevin has accepted the responsibility for designing and implementing PACE districts and financing programs in Ohio for the Columbus-Franklin County and Dayton-Montgomery County areas.
As PACE Equity Chief Investment Officer, Kevin is a strong advocate for establishing broad based commercial PACE programs. These programs meet the needs and provide solutions to aging building infrastructure for customers – from small to large businesses in non-profit, government, education, healthcare, multi-family, retail, office, and hospitality segments.
Using streamlined processes and documentation, Kevin actively leads project development, market demand, and financing made possible through strong partner collaboration and support.
Kevin earned his Bachelor degree in Management from the University of Findlay and his Executive MBA from Bowling Green State University. He also completed Executive Training for General Management at the University of Michigan and for Lean Systems at the University of Kentucky.
