Glen Heitkamp is the Vice President of Engineering and Building Optimization.
He has an extensive background in construction, energy engineering and project development. He worked for Turner Construction in Cleveland, Ohio after graduating from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has a keen respect for the knowledge he gained from working with people in the trades understanding how projects are put together and how critical it is to plan well.
Glen worked for Johnson Controls for almost 30 years, specializing in Energy Performance Contracting in a variety of vertical markets throughout North America. Glen rose from the ranks of Energy Engineer to Senior Principal Development Engineer focused on innovation.
At PACE Equity, Glen manages engineering and works closely with client design teams to ensure projects qualify for CIRRUS Low Carbon rates and benefits.
Glen served as Regional Vice-President of the Midwest Association of Energy Engineers in addition to other roles in the local AEE office. He lives outside of Cleveland with his wife, three children and many cats and dogs. He enjoys taking walks with his dogs and boating in the summer.
