Don Schulz is the Managing Director at PACE Equity in Seattle, serving the Pacific Northwest region.
With over 28 years of experience in commercial real estate, Don has built a diverse career across various roles and sectors. He began by managing the origination, servicing, and sale of more than $100 million in construction loans for the healthcare sector. His career evolved to include institutional-grade asset management, investor relations, and lease negotiations for both institutional real estate investors and corporate occupiers.
Don has also launched and led a brokerage office and spearheaded regional and national business development for major real estate service providers. He has extensive experience representing large corporate clients in complex lease negotiations. Most recently, he served as the COO of a national construction project management firm based in Seattle.
Adding a unique dimension to his expertise, Don has an engineering background from his five years as a US Navy officer, where he managed the operations of two 500-megawatt nuclear power plants.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Professional (CMAP), a Six Sigma Green Belt and Washington licensed real estate broker. In addition to his professional achievements, Don is active in industry associations and volunteers with his local Rotary Club. In his free time, he is an avid skier/ski instructor, hiker. runner and frequent home brewer.
