Julie Tanaka, PACE Equity’s Minnesota Managing Director, has been featured in Twin Cities Business magazine’s 2023 Notable Leaders in Banking and Finance.
Julie was honored for her numerous contributions to the financial landscape and business community in the Twin Cities. She has been a recognized leader in commercial real estate finance for decades, having been separately honored as a Top 20 Women in Finance, Women to Watch, and Minnesotans on the Move. Since joining PACE Equity, Julie has proven herself a champion for low-carbon development.
Julie’s recent achievements include supporting the redevelopment of Minneapolis’ historic Coliseum Building, which was once slated for demolition. When developers opted to revive the building, Julie saw an opportunity to support the project with lower-cost financing for the building’s lower carbon design through CIRRUS Low Carbon. Thanks to Julie, PACE Equity is a proud partner in the Coliseum Building’s pivotal redevelopment.
