The Transaction Analyst is a vital part of our originations team. You would work closely with the Originations team leadership to support the business development functions. You would review new term sheet and commitment proposals, onboard new Market Leader/Managing Directors, and support the team. This is an ideal role for recent college graduates who are seeking a career in commercial real estate finance and/or sustainable finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support PACE Equity originations by supporting market leaders with initial deal underwriting, analysis and capital structure.
  • Review deal underwriting assumptions and proposed financial terms to ensure accuracy, logical consistency and compliance with PACE Equity and CPACE program criteria & requirements.
  • Project manage regional sales proposal generation process to ensure quality and timely delivery of proposals. This includes financial underwriting of real estate investments, generation of term sheets and commitment documentation, and coordination of the internal approval process.
  • Master CPACE financing program requirements state to state, across the country. Assist team leadership in maintaining internal program guidelines and managing relationships with program administrators. Build fluency with PACE program technical requirements and specifications.
  • Support Market Leaders with underwriting analysis and technology support including Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365 and proprietary proforma analysis software platform.
  • Manage and analyze sales pipeline data for market leaders and prepare analysis for leadership team. Support Salesforce administration needs such as setting up new users, managing account, contact and opportunity information consistency.
  • Lead the process for onboarding new sales team members, including setting up technology and connecting them to PACE Equity technology platforms.
  • Other miscellaneous duties to support sales team leadership and the Market Leader team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or commercial real estate.
  • Prior work experience in a professional setting
  • Finance proficiencies that include financial analysis, basic real estate underwriting principles, preparation of amortization schedules, etc. are helpful but not required.
  • Strength in technology, especially the Microsoft Office suite and file sharing software.
  • Self-starter who is detail orientated and can work independently with minimal supervision.
